Frequently Asked Questions
Silicone 3-Ply Reducer Hose 1.50" to 1.75" Black/Red
Step down coolant or intake flow with a reinforced silicone hose that handles heat and pressure without cracking. The 3-ply construction resists expansion under load, while the dual-durometer silicone compounds grip factory connectors and custom fittings alike. Black exterior with red inner layer for easy diagnostics.
Key Features
- 3-Ply construction - Braided reinforcement prevents bulging and failure under sustained pressure.
- Dual-layer silicone compound - Red inner layer resists ozone and UV; black exterior hides heat discoloration.
- 1.50" to 1.75" transition - Bridges mismatched cooling or intake ports without reducers or adapters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need hose clamps to install this?
Yes. Clamps are not included — you'll need two stainless clamps (one for each end) sized to fit your 1.50" and 1.75" ports. Worm-drive or spring clamps both work.
Can I use this for coolant, fuel, or vacuum lines?
This is built for coolant and intake applications. Do not use for fuel — silicone isn't fuel-compatible. Vacuum applications work fine if your line pressure is low.
How do I know if this will fit my ports?
Measure your two connectors with calipers to confirm one is 1.50" ID and the other is 1.75" ID. If your ports are metric or odd-sized, this won't work — you'll need a different reducer or custom hose.
