Add pure lows to your system, this 8″ car subwoofer RS8-SUB delivers responsive bass, thanks to its high Xmax. This sub was engineered and built with performance in mind, for pickup trucks, or any car you want to put a subwoofer in without sacrificing trunk space.
- Optimized for use in compact enclosures this subwoofer is ideal for under or behind seat truck boxes
- 4 layer high-temperature copper voice coil capable of handling 500 watts RMS program power, which makes high acoustic output
- High roll U surround gives an 14.5 mm of Xmax for low bass reproduction without any issues
- Side forced cooling system with vented back plate design for better heat dissipation
- Dual 4 Ohm, easy setup to connect two subs in parallel to 1 ohm
This subwoofer features a beefy magnet motor that enhances its power and bass response, allowing it to handle more power and produce richer, fuller bass tones. Its double magnet motor allows for a remarkable 14.5mm Xmax, delivering high excursion equivalent to bigger size subwoofers
In this beefy 8″ sub, can reach 1.30″ peak to peak excursion before damage! Which allows for deep low frequency bass!

Recommended Amplifier configurations:
- 1 Subwoofer – 1x RS500 BASS 2 Ohm, one sub in parallel
- 2 Subwoofers – 1x RS900 BASS 1 Ohm, both subs in parallel
The LPF on amplifiers should be set between 80 – 100 Hz when using musical power up to 500 Watts RMS, Subsonic filters should be set according to music style, this will help to avoid subwoofer damage from excess excursion caused by ultra low frequencies.
Take your time and break them in! A brand-new sub is always a little stiff but after break-in, the subwoofer soft parts will stretch out! This means with less power you will create the same output with more extended low bass tones.
