Do I need to drain the cooling system before installing this?

Yes. Drain the existing coolant completely before disconnecting the old radiator. This prevents spillage and lets you reuse coolant if it's fresh. New radiators ship dry, so flush the cooling lines if the old system has debris or discoloration.

Does this radiator come with hoses and clamps?

The radiator assembly itself includes inlet and outlet tanks. Upper and lower hoses, heater hoses, and clamps are not included—reuse your existing hoses or order separately if they show wear or cracks.

Will the thermostat and water pump need replacement at the same time?

Not necessarily, but this is the ideal time to inspect both. If your water pump or thermostat is near the end of its service life, replacing them now saves labor down the road. Neither is included with this radiator.
