Do I need to remove my existing mirror housing to install this?
Yes — the mirror housing comes off the door. Once removed, the old glass pops or unsnaps from the backing plate, and this one installs the same way. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver and maybe 20 minutes per side.
Will the heating element work with my factory wiring?
This is a direct OE replacement, so it plugs into the factory connector on the back of the mirror housing. No splicing or rewiring needed — your factory heated mirror button fires it up just like before.
What if the glass arrives damaged or doesn't fit?
Test-fit it into your mirror housing before final installation. If there's a problem, contact ModSupply with photos and we'll sort a replacement. Once it's glued or clipped in permanently, that's on you.
