Do I need to flush the cooling system before installing this radiator?

Yes. Drain your old coolant completely and flush the system with distilled water to remove debris and sediment. Fresh coolant protects your new radiator and prevents premature corrosion.

Will my existing hoses and transmission lines connect directly?

Factory hoses and fittings bolt up without modification. Inspect hose condition before install — if clamps are corroded or hoses are cracked, replace them while you're in there.

What about the mounting brackets — do I need new ones?

Your original brackets work. The OEM design uses the same factory attachment points, so reuse what you have unless brackets show damage or excessive rust.
