Frequently Asked Questions
Will this plug directly into my existing wiring?
This mirror has OEM connectors and mounts at factory points. Verify your vehicle's wiring harness supports heated and powered mirror functions before installation—some base-model trims may not have the complete factory wiring in place.
Do I need to primer this before painting?
The housing arrives with a base finish. If you're painting to match, light scuff and a quality primer designed for automotive plastic will prep it for your topcoat. Follow your paint system's prep specs.
What if the mirror doesn't work after I install it?
Check power and ground connections first—a bad harness connection is the most common cause. If the mirror arrived damaged or the heating element doesn't respond after confirming wiring, contact ModSupply for a replacement.
