Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need new gaskets or O-rings when I install this?
Gaskets at the catalytic converter flange may or may not be reusable depending on your removal process. Have spares on hand — they're cheap insurance and prevent exhaust leaks at the connection point.
Can I install this myself with basic hand tools?
Yes. You'll need jack stands, a socket set, and a few minutes to unbolt the factory system and bolt on the new one. Factory mounting means no cutting, welding, or alignment work.
Will the burnt tip look the same after I drive it, or does it need polishing?
The burnt finish is heat-treated at the factory — it's not polished chrome. It may develop a darker patina over time from exhaust heat and road grime, but that's normal and part of the look. Clean it occasionally with soap and water if you want it to stay bright.
