Do I need to clear codes or reprogram the ECU after installation?
Swap it in the same way you'd remove the old one. Your ECU recognizes OEM-spec output immediately. If you had a fault code, it should clear once the new sensor reports valid data — but let the vehicle run through a full startup cycle first.
What's the return process if it doesn't solve my issue?
