Will this heat element work with my existing mirror switch?
Yes — this lens plugs into your factory mirror wiring. Your OEM switch controls it the same way as before. No rewiring needed.
How do I remove the old glass and install the new one?
Mirror glass pops out from the backside of the mirror housing. Disconnect the heating element connector, remove the old glass, reconnect the new one, and snap it back into place. It's a 5-minute job with no tools.
What if the heating element stops working after I install it?
Test the heater before installation by connecting it to power — that way you know it's functional before committing. If it fails after install, the issue is likely your vehicle's heating circuit or mirror switch, not the glass itself.
