Do I need to remove anything before installation?
You'll disconnect the OEM exhaust at the catalytic converter and unbolt any hanging hardware. The new system bolts in at the same cat connection points — no modifications to your truck needed.
Will I need a jack or lift to get this on?
Rear exhaust work is easiest with the truck on ramps or a lift, but experienced DIYers have done it on jack stands. Give yourself clear workspace under the rear — you're removing the old system and sliding the new one into place.
Can I install this without new gaskets or clamps?
Test-fit everything first once it's loose. Reuse your factory bolts and gasket at the cat connection if they're in good shape, but keep fresh gaskets and clamps on hand — exhaust components can stick after years of heat cycles, and you may need replacements during removal.
