The 2-bolt flange bolts into your existing factory connection points, but bolts and gaskets are not included. Grab hardware-store grade stainless steel bolts and exhaust gaskets rated for high heat — standard automotive exhaust shops stock both.
Can I weld this instead of bolting it?
You can, but welding defeats the purpose — the flex construction is engineered to move and absorb vibration. Bolting it lets the pipe do its job. If you weld it rigid, you're back to the cracking problem a flex pipe solves.
Will this pipe fit my current exhaust setup?
This pipe is cut to 5.75" with factory 2-bolt flanges, so it matches Ford spec from that era. Test-fit it between your manifold and whatever secondary piping you're running — if the flange bolt holes line up and the length bridges the gap without binding, you're good to go.
