It's time to ditch the 3rd Gen RDX restrictive stock air intake and filter! This HPS Performance Air Intake Kit (part number 827-729) replaces the restrictive stock intake with a 3.25” mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to improve air delivery to the engine. The stock air filter and air filter housing is replaced with a high-performance reusable high-flow cotton air filter and a specially designed heat shield to direct air flow to your intake. The heat shield features a specially designed pattern so you can hear that sweet turbo spool under hard acceleration while retaining the effectiveness of the heat shield. Experience improved acceleration and throttle response with dyno proven gains of 9 horsepower and 9 lb-ft. of torque. Engineered to perform even under the toughest driving conditions, HPS Performance Air Intake Kits are built with durable high temperature resistant reinforced silicone couplers and 100% stainless steel embossed clamps. Installation is a breeze - you only need basic hand tools and no additional modifications are required.
