Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need primer and paint before installing these?
The textured finish comes ready to prep. Sand lightly with 120–150 grit, then prime and paint to match your truck. The texture accepts paint well and helps it stick without additional base coat prep.
Do these flares come with bolts and hardware?
Hardware not included. Use stainless steel bolts sized for your vehicle's factory flare holes — most 90s Chevy trucks use 8mm or 10mm. Grab a pack at any hardware store to avoid corrosion down the road.
Will pocket rivets ever come loose?
Pocket rivets are factory-level permanent fasteners — they won't back out like bolts can. Once installed, they stay put. If a rivet ever fails (rare), it can be drilled and replaced with a new rivet or bolt.
