Do I need new brake rotors and pads when I swap hubs?
Not necessarily — inspect your rotors and pads during installation. If rotors show wear grooves or pads are thin, replace them while you're in there. If both are serviceable, you can reuse them with the new hub.
What tools do I need to install this?
Standard socket set, jack and jack stands, and a hub puller or bearing press to separate the old hub from the axle. Torque specs vary by position (front vs. rear) — check your vehicle's service manual before final tightening.
Can I reuse the speed sensor from my old hub?
Many hubs allow you to transfer the ABS sensor, but inspect the sensor and wiring for damage first. If the connector is corroded or the sensor is cracked, replace it with a new one to avoid brake warning lights.
