Do these headers bolt up to my factory exhaust system?
These headers use your factory mounting points and connect to a standard exhaust system downstream. You may need to modify or replace your mid-pipe depending on your current setup, but the header flange bolts directly to the engine.
Will I need a tune or tune-up after installation?
Headers alone won't require a tune, but pairing them with a free-flowing exhaust system (cat-back or axle-back) will give you the best gains. Your engine will run fine without additional tuning.
How should I prepare the mating surface on my engine before install?
Clean the factory manifold mounting face with a wire brush or gasket scraper to remove old gasket material and carbon. Use a new header gasket when bolting up — reusing the old gasket often causes leaks.
