Frequently Asked Questions
Will this basket require me to drill into my roof?
Mounting method not specified β test-fit against your existing roof rail system before committing to fasteners. Most universal baskets clamp to factory cross-bars, but verify your vehicle's attachment points first.
Does the black finish need paint or additional coating?
The basket ships in black steel. Inspect for any surface damage upon arrival and address bare metal spots with touch-up paint or rust inhibitor to prevent corrosion over time.
What weight can this basket actually handle?
Load capacity not specified in product data β check your vehicle's roof load limit in the owner's manual and distribute weight evenly across the basket. Overloading stresses both the basket and your roof structure.
