Help get rid of that pesky understeer. Buy a Miata… JUST KIDDING! Let’s face it. Honda only reserved the good components for the Civic to the higher-end trim models. Meaning if you have a cool looking EK hatchback, you will probably be stuck with a lower end trim model with no rear sway bar.

Sway bars help control lateral vehicle dynamics by transferring the opposing suspension forces between inside and outside wheels during cornering. Sway bars not only decrease overall body roll but also increases vehicle response and balance. Experiencing understeer? Increase (or add) the sway bar rate in the back!

Our sway bar kit will mostly come with everything you need to add a rear sway bar to the 1996-2000 Honda Civic which did not have one prior. An aluminum subframe brace will serve as the mount for the sway bar as well as providing some added structural rigidity. All that is needed are sway bar end-links and either factory or aftermarket lower control arms with provisions to mount a sway bar. All Megan Racing suspension components come with a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects.
