Do aluminum lug nuts need any special maintenance?
The red anodized finish protects against corrosion, but check torque after your first drive and monthly thereafter — aluminum can relax slightly more than steel. Retorque to your vehicle's spec using a torque wrench. Hand-knurled tightening is fine for initial assembly, but always finish with a wrench to spec.
