- Confirm your car is an S5, not an A5 — this is moulded to the S5 facelift bumper and will not fit the standard A5
- Confirm your car is the B8.5 facelift, not the pre-facelift B8 — check your build date if you are unsure, as the front bumpers differ
- Front lips sit low and are exposed to kerbs, driveway ramps, and road debris — take care when parking nose-in
