Frequently Asked Questions
Will this plug directly into my existing wiring?
Yes—this is a direct OEM replacement. Connector matches the factory door harness on 98-02 Town Cars. No rewiring or adapter harnesses needed.
Do I need any fasteners or adhesive to mount it?
Uses factory mounting bolts at the door. Check your existing hardware before installation—if bolts are corroded or missing, have replacements on hand before you start.
Can I test the heating element before full install?
Yes—connect power through the door harness and cycle the heat function before tightening all mounting bolts. This catches any wiring issues before the job is finished.
