Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a new transmission cooler hose when I install this?
Check your existing hose when you pull the old radiator. If it's cracked, leaking, or hardened, replace it before installation. Most installs don't require new hose if the original is in good shape — just drain and disconnect, swap the radiator, and reconnect.
Will I need to bleed the cooling system after installation?
Yes. Run the engine with the radiator cap off until coolant circulates freely and air pockets work out, then top off and check for leaks. This takes about 10 minutes and prevents air locks that cause overheating.
Does this radiator come with new hoses and clamps?
The radiator assembly comes as-is. Reuse your existing inlet and outlet hoses unless they show wear or damage. If either hose is brittle or leaking, replacing them at the same time prevents comebacks.
