Frequently Asked Questions
Will this bolt straight into my Transit without modifications?
Yes. This unit uses the factory mounting points on your vehicle frame — no drilling, custom brackets, or rework needed. Bolt it in where the old one sat.
Do I need to flush the AC lines before installing this?
Yes. Before you mount the new condenser, have a technician flush the entire AC system to remove old oil and debris. Installing a condenser into contaminated lines will kill the new unit fast.
What hardware do I need to complete the job?
The condenser arrives as the core unit. You'll need to source the correct refrigerant line fittings and hose clamps to reconnect it to your system — these match your Transit's original setup. Your local shop can verify exact sizes when you bring it in.
