Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to have my system evacuated before installing this?
Yes. Before you crack any AC line, the system must be evacuated and recovered by someone with EPA certification and proper equipment. This protects the environment and prevents moisture from entering your new condenser. After installation, the system gets charged back with fresh refrigerant and oil.
Will this work with my existing hoses and fittings?
This condenser uses factory connection points, so OEM hoses and fittings bolt on without modification. If your old hoses are cracked or have been sitting for years, replacing them at the same time is smart preventive maintenance.
What if I order this and it doesn't fit?
Verify your vehicle is non-hybrid before checkout—hybrid Highlanders use a different condenser. Once confirmed, this assembly mounts directly to factory points. If there's a problem, contact support with photos and your VIN for verification.
