Do I need hardware to install this?

This molding uses factory mounting points, so you're working with whatever fasteners your vehicle originally came with. Check those attachment points before ordering — if fasteners are missing or damaged, you'll need OEM replacements from your dealer or a bolt kit from the hardware section here.

Does this need paint before installation?

That depends on condition and finish. If it arrives ready to bolt on, you can install it as-is. If you need to prep or refinish, sand and prime according to your paint system, then finish to match your bumper. No special prep beyond standard bodywork.

Will this fit if my grille has been modified or damaged?

This is a factory-spec trim ring — it expects stock grille opening geometry and undamaged mounting tabs. If your opening's been widened, cut, or reinforced, test-fit first. Minor damage to mounting tabs can sometimes be worked around with careful fitment; major structural changes will require custom fabrication.
