Frequently Asked Questions
Will this work with my existing mirror housing and heating system?
Yes — this lens is engineered as a direct replacement. It mounts to your current mirror assembly and connects to the factory heated mirror circuit without rewiring or adapter harnesses.
Do I need to remove the entire mirror from the door?
Not always. Many owners swap the lens in place without pulling the mirror housing off, though access varies by model year. Test-fit first to determine if full removal makes the job easier on your vehicle.
What happens if the heating element fails after I install it?
The heating function depends on your vehicle's mirror control module. If heat doesn't activate after installation, check that the connector is fully seated on the lens terminals and verify the heated mirror switch on your dashboard is working.
