Frequently Asked Questions
Do these mount at factory rocker points, or do I need to drill?
These mount at factory rocker panel attachment points — no drilling required. Use the holes that are already there.
Can I install these myself with basic hand tools?
Yes. You'll need a socket set and a torque wrench. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for fastener torque specs — don't over-tighten the factory mounting points.
Does aluminum need protection from rust?
Aluminum naturally resists corrosion, but your mounting fasteners are steel and will rust over time. Coat bolts with a light grease or anti-seize compound before installation to extend their life.
