Refrigerant oil and desiccant bags are separate purchases — they're not included with the condenser. Most shops add fresh desiccant and top off oil as part of the install to prevent moisture and contamination in the system.
Do I need to flush the entire AC system before swapping in this condenser?
Flushing depends on why you're replacing the original. If the old condenser failed due to debris or contamination, flush the lines and receiver/dryer. If it's just wear, a flush is still good practice to protect your new unit.
What if the condenser has slight cosmetic damage when it arrives?
Inspect your unit immediately upon arrival. Surface marks don't affect cooling performance, but aluminum fins can be fragile — dents or bent fins reduce efficiency. Document any damage with photos and contact support within the return window.
