Do these flares need to be painted before installation?
They arrive ready to bolt on as-is. If you want them to match your truck's paint, sand with 220-grit, apply primer, and topcoat with automotive paint. Installation can happen before or after painting—your choice based on your workflow.
What hardware do I need to install these?
Mounting hardware is not included with this set. You'll use the factory bolt holes on your truck's fenders. Pick up stainless steel bolts and washers from any hardware store—typically 1/4" x 1" will work, but verify against your truck's factory specs before committing.
Can I install these myself?
Yes. You need a socket wrench set and about an hour per corner. Align the flare to the fender, clamp it in place, mark and drill if needed, then bolt it down. No special tools or shop equipment required.
