Independent Dyno Comparison 

A community-run controlled dyno test compared the Factory airbox, Banks, SXTH Element, and K&N intakes on the same 2024 Tacoma 2.4T, same dyno, same fuel, and same test procedure — with an ECU learning reset between each intake.

Peak wheel horsepower results (stock calibration):

• SXTH Element: 244.58 whp
• Banks: 244.98 whp
• K&N: 243.86 whp
• OEM Airbox: 234.93 whp

All three aftermarket intakes outperformed the factory airbox by approximately 9–10 whp under controlled conditions. Notably, the SXTH Element intake also demonstrated the most stable fuel trim behavior of the aftermarket options — approximately 10–12% correction vs. 13–14% for Banks — meaning the ECU requires less compensation to maintain commanded fueling.
