When doing an auto to manual conversion on 04-06 TSX the clutch pedal needs to be bolted to the cowl to add stability to the pedal. This brace can either be welded or bolted (using rivet nuts or threaded inserts) to the cowl. The brace can be ordered with a steel template to help locate the clutch pedal with drilling the mounting holes. Bolt the template to the bracket booster inside the car to determine the location of the holes that need to be made to mount the clutch pedal.
*Installing the clutch pedal brace requires the removal of the dashboard.
