At Autotech, we manufacture our own complete line of high performance polyurethane suspension and chassis bushings for upgrading your Volkswagen. We cast all our bushings using a high grade polyurethane cured with a unique curing agent called MOCA . MOCA cured polyurethane produces a tough abrasion-resistant polymer not duplicated in polyurethane manufactured with other curatives. This compound is cured in an autoclave for long wear and durability. These translucent red bushings give a very accurate fit because of the care and expertise used in the making of our special all-metal tooling. Additionally, all metal sleeves used in through-bolt suspension attachments are precision machined to factory tolerances for a perfect fit, then cadmium plated to resist corrosion.Sport suspension bushings help improve transient response in cornering, and give you a more precise feel of the road. They also help prevent the toe-changes associated with high horsepower vehicles under hard acceleration. The 88A Shore hardness we use for our polyurethane applications is not too harsh for most road conditions and all parts are virtually squeek free. Be careful of other aftermarket bushings which may be too hard and therefore uncomfortable for street use. Also, the harder durotmeter the bushing, the more the squeek.
