Does this mirror plug directly into the factory wiring harness?
Yes — this mirror connects at the factory electrical connection points. No additional rewiring needed; power and ground are already in place.
Do I need to remove the door panel to install this?
No. The mirror mounts at factory points on the outside of the door. You'll unbolt the old one and bolt this one on — roughly 10 minutes per side with basic hand tools.
Will the heating element work immediately after installation?
Yes. Once bolted in and connected, the heater is active. Test it before closing the door to confirm power is reaching the element.
