HPS Performance High Temp 3-ply Reinforced Red Silicone Radiator Coolant Hose Kit (part number 57-2129-RED) is designed to replace 1999-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L L6 stock OEM rubber upper and lower radiator hoses which weaken and fail over time. With premium quality silicone and performance inspired design, this coolant hose kit can withstand the harsh, high temperature and high pressure operating conditions under the hood through a wide range of driving conditions. The lower radiator hose features a stainless steel coil insert to prevent collapsing from negative pressure - a common issue for these vehicles. HPS silicone hose kits have all the correct bends and dimensions to perfectly fit as replacements for OEM rubber coolant hoses. Compared to the universal hoses from the local auto store, HPS silicone hose kits are much easier to work with. Maximum temperature rating: 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps are included for easy installation.

Remark: Silicone hose water permeation rate is 10 to 15 times greater than standard EPDM rubber hose. Checking water level regularly is highly recommended when silicone coolant hoses are used in a daily driving vehicle.
