Do I need to drain or prep my washer fluid reservoir before installation?
You don't have to, but it's easier to work if you empty most of the fluid first. Gives you better access to the pump mounting point and reduces spillage during removal and swap.
What if the pump doesn't spray after I install it?
Check that washer fluid is filled, the pump is fully seated in the reservoir, and the connector is pushed in all the way. If spray is still weak, run washer fluid through the lines a few times to clear any air pockets.
