Flushing is recommended—clean coolant prevents buildup in a new core. Drain the old system, flush the block and hoses, then fill with fresh coolant and bleed air as needed.
Can I use this on a stock engine or only turbocharged models?
This is engineered for 2.5L turbo models specifically. While it will physically fit a non-turbo variant, capacity and thermostat calibration are matched to turbo heat output.
