Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need new hoses or can I reuse my existing ones?
Your existing hoses will bolt to the factory inlet and outlet ports. Before installation, inspect hose condition—age and heat damage matter more than the radiator itself. If they're cracked or soft, replace them now rather than chasing leaks later.
What about the thermostat and water pump—do I need to replace those too?
This radiator alone won't fix a failing thermostat or pump. If your truck was overheating, test those components before installing the new core. A radiator swap is straightforward, but it won't solve underlying circulation problems.
Does this come with the mounting hardware and brackets?
Factory mounting tabs are included, but confirm what fasteners are already on your truck's frame. You may reuse existing bolts and brackets if they're in good condition—no special hardware needed for a direct bolt-in replacement.
