As speeds rise, your EVO X builds up air pressure beneath the front bumper, resulting in lift and reduced traction. A front splitter counteracts this by directing airflow up and over the car, producing downforce to increase grip, cornering performance, and stability.
For added strength and rigidity — especially during spirited driving or track days — splitter rods are recommended to keep the splitter firmly in place.
