This reinforcement bar mounts behind the bumper cover, so existing cutouts won't interfere with installation. Align it with the factory mounting points and you're good.
Do I need to remove the front bumper cover to install this?
Yes. You'll need to take off the bumper cover to access the factory mounting locations where the reinforcement bar bolts on. Once secured, reinstall the cover normally.
What if my lower valance or air dam is cracked — will this bar work with a replacement?
The reinforcement bar itself doesn't interact with the valance. Install the bar at the factory points first, then fit your new or existing valance around it. No conflicts.
