Check your existing hoses before installation — if they're original or showing cracks and hardening, replace them at the same time. New radiator + degraded hoses is a recipe for slow leaks. Fresh coolant lines run cheap; a coolant spill into the engine bay doesn't.
What tools do I need to swap this in?
Basic hand tool kit and a drain pan for coolant. You'll need to access the radiator shroud and disconnect the upper and lower hose clamps. Refer to your vehicle's service manual for torque specs on the shroud bolts and any fan assembly clips.
