Yes. Use fresh header gaskets and hardware during installation—reusing old gaskets invites exhaust leaks. OEM fasteners work fine if they're in good condition, but new bolts are cheap insurance.
Will this bolt directly to my stock exhaust system?
The header bolts to your engine. What happens downstream depends on your existing exhaust piping. Test-fit the outlet diameter against your current mid-pipe or cat before final installation to confirm clearance and fitment.
Do I need to do anything special before installing it?
Inspect the gasket sealing surfaces on the cylinder head for carbon buildup or damage—clean them down to bare metal if needed. Check that all mounting bosses are intact. Once that's done, you're ready to bolt it down.
