Installation & product FAQs
Plan your purchase and installation with these product-specific answers.
How do I confirm the right version before ordering?
Match the vehicle, model year and connector option in this listing. If your wiring, engine or ignition has been changed, contact Speedzone with those details and clear connector photos before ordering. A video showing a similar car does not confirm your exact fitment.
Is Ghost Power a push-to-start conversion or a tracker?
Ghost Power adds RFID authorization to the vehicle’s ignition/start circuit. It is not the Ghost Key push-to-start conversion and does not provide Ghost Lock GPS tracking.
What installation work is required?
Choose the exact vehicle-specific harness. JDI describes this version as plug and play. Check the selected application and supplied instructions before removing trim or making connections.
Are keys included?
Yes. The kit includes RFID keys. See the contents listed above for this version; additional programmed keys are optional and must be paired to your system.
Does a flat vehicle battery erase the programming?
JDI states that vehicle-battery discharge does not require the system to be reprogrammed.
Where do I get installation instructions?
Use the manual supplied with your kit. For the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep version, JDI states that a link to the installation video is included in the package. Contact us or JDI if that link is missing; a Ghost Key video is not a substitute for Ghost Power wiring instructions.
Who can help if I am unsure?
Contact Speedzone with your order number, vehicle year/make/model, selected kit and photos of the connectors. For manufacturer-specific wiring guidance, use JDI technical support. Follow the instructions supplied with your exact kit revision.
Product information checked against JDI’s manufacturer resource. Use the instructions supplied with your exact product. Browse official JDI installation guides.
