Silver ceramic shorty headers for compatible Ford 289/302/5.0L V8 applications: 1964½–1973 Mustang/Cougar, 1966–1973 Falcon/Fairlane/Torino/Ranchero/Cyclone/Montego, 1970–1977 Maverick and 1966–1969 Comet. Features 1-5/8-inch primaries and 2.5-inch collectors.
Excludes Dart Windsor heads, C6 transmissions, and 1971–1973 Mustang/Cougar with manual transmission. On 1964–1966 models, shock-tower center spacing must be at least 34-7/16 inches. Exhaust modification is required; check steering-ram and linkage clearance against the manual.
Do not break in a new engine with ceramic-coated headers: use cast-iron manifolds or old headers, then follow the coating heat-cycle instructions. Do not use header wrap. Confirm application and current use restrictions before installation; no street-use approval is implied.
