This kit helps in the installation of an extra amplifier on Harley Davidson models from 1996 and later including the Electra Glide (FLHT), Street Glide (FLHX), Road Glide (FLTR) and some TRIKE’s.
Included in this kit is DS18’s newest OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) tinned wire for stronger connections, higher conduction, and resistance against corrosion caused by the elements.
The 8AWG Red (Power) and Black (Ground) OFC Tinned Wire comes in a protective braided sleeve, heat shrink, and ring terminals for added protection against the elements and easier inspection of possible problems.
The stronger connections these wires establish are supported by the included in-line waterproof fuse holder and 2 x 30A ATC fuses installed on the holder.
The RY-KIT8.HD is recommended for amplifiers up to 840W for best results after installation.
