Will this connect to my factory wiring harness?
Yes. This uses the existing third brake light connector and mounting points — no rewiring needed. Plug the harness in and you're done.
Do I need to remove the old taillight housing to install this?
No. The third brake light is a separate component mounted at the top center of the tailgate or rear panel. You'll access it from inside the vehicle or from the exterior depending on your model year, then swap the old unit out.
What if the LED doesn't light up after installation?
Check that the connector is fully seated and the vehicle's brake light circuit is functioning (test the main brake lights first). If the main lights work but the third light doesn't, verify the wiring harness connection. Contact support with photos if the issue persists after a full reseat.
