Frequently Asked Questions
Will this pump work with my existing washer fluid hose and connectors?
This pump mounts into the factory reservoir and uses OEM connection points, so existing hoses and fittings are compatible. Verify hose condition before reinstalling—older tubing may have deteriorated.
Do I need to drain the washer fluid before swapping the pump out?
Draining the reservoir first makes the job cleaner and easier. You'll have better access inside the tank and won't spill old fluid during removal and installation.
What if the new pump doesn't spray with the same force as before?
Check for kinked or cracked hoses between the pump and nozzles—age and heat can damage lines. Also verify the reservoir cap vent isn't blocked; restricted airflow reduces spray pressure. If both check out, test the electrical connection at the pump itself.
