Do I need to drain the cooling system before swapping this in?
Yes. Disconnect the hoses from the old tank, drain any remaining coolant into a container, then unbolt the tank. Installation is the reverse — attach hoses to the new tank and refill your cooling system to the proper level per your service manual.
Will this tank fit directly where my old one was?
Yes. This is designed for factory mounting points — no brackets, adapters, or drilling required. Line up the bolt holes and hose ports, and you're good to go.
Does this come with the hoses and clamps?
Tank only — you'll reuse your existing hoses and clamps from the old tank. If either hose shows cracks or the clamps are corroded, replace them while you're in there.
