X-Lite was born in 1998 as a new brand of Premium Italian helmets. The brand belongs to the Nolan Group and is characterised by only working with the topmost quality materials, such as fibre. The specialisation and artisan manufacture of helmets on a par with the materials used, made the X-Lite a successful brand within a few years of its creation.
A generation of riders have relied on X-Lite for their sports career: Carlos Checa, Toni Elías, Chaz Davies or Jorge Lorenzo himself are some of the riders that have worn X-Lite helmets.
The shells of the X-Lite sports helmets are made exclusively of fibre, including carbon fibre. But X-lite has also known how to make use of their experience with this material to create modular helmets. Devised for a more touring use, it is designed to adapt to the N-Com intercom system of the sister brand, Nolan. . And although X-Lite specialises in Premium fibre helmets, amongst their full face helmets there are also more polyvalent models in their range, very recommended for those who prefer a sport-touring riding.
Maybe X-lite has always been linked with the asphalt, but they also have adventure models which are the delight of trail riders. A helmet of this type might not be the most indicated for motocross, but it is the brand’s first step into the off-road market.
