Do I need to drain the cooling system before swapping in the new radiator?
Yes. Drain the entire system and flush it thoroughly before installation to remove sediment and contaminants. Use the drain plug on the radiator and engine block, and refer to your service manual for proper coolant capacity and mixture specs.
Will this radiator work with my current fan clutch and hoses?
Factory mounting and connection points are identical to OEM, so existing fans and hose assemblies bolt up without modification. Inspect hose condition during install and replace any that show wear or cracking.
Is any sealant or gasket material included?
Radiator assembly ships bare. Inspect the tank gasket condition before install—if the old gasket stuck to the engine, you'll need a new gasket kit from your parts supplier before bolt-down.
