Can I use just one mat or do I need a pair?
One mat works for light recovery and testing. Most serious users run two tracks — one under each drive wheel. This single piece lets you start with one and add a second later if needed.
How do I store this in my truck?
Stack it flat under the rear seat, in a roof rack, or against the inside of a tonneau cover. It won't take up much room. Some owners strap it to the underside of a roof rack to free up interior space entirely.
What surfaces work best with these tracks?
Sand, mud, and loose soil grip these mats hard. Gravel works. Snow and ice work if you wedge them tight under the tire. Asphalt and concrete are overkill — you don't need them on solid ground.
