Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need new shocks or springs after installing this?
Factory shocks and springs work fine with coil spacers. Since this kit doesn't compress or extend the shock travel, you're not changing suspension dynamics—just the ride height. Replace shocks or springs only if they're worn or damaged.
Will this affect my alignment or tire wear?
Leveling kits are designed to preserve OEM alignment specs. You should still get a four-wheel alignment after installation to ensure camber and toe are set correctly, but the kit itself doesn't force any negative geometry changes.
What tools do I need to install this?
You'll need basic hand tools and a jack with jack stands. Some people use a coil spring compressor to make removal easier, but it's not always required depending on your comfort level. Refer to your service manual for torque specs on suspension fasteners.
